These pancakes are a simply morning treat to put a spring in your step before taking on the day's activities. They're SUPER easy to make and you'll be feel completely satisfied after eating them!

You will need:

125g of self-raising flour

4 tbsp of caster sugar

100g of cocoa powder

400ml of milk

128g of melted butter

Step 1.

In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar and cocoa powder.

Step 2.

Gradually whisk in the eggs and milk.

Step 3.

Mix until a thick, smooth batter forms.

Step 4.

Heat a frying pan over a medium heat and brush with melted butter.

Step 5.

Pour/spoon a dollop of the mixture into the pan.

Step 6.

When many bubbles form on the top, flip it over to cook the other side. Keep in a warm place while you cook the rest of the batter.

Step 7.

Serve with toppings of your choice!

I made these pancakes after a long day of school and they were pure bliss!

A quick tip: when you've made the batter, give it a little taste test. If it's not as sweet as you'd like, add another tablespoon or so. If the batter appears too thick, add another splash of milk.
